A championship threepeat for the CTHS Boys Track & Field team, while the CCHS girls team takes second at the Colorado Track & Field Championships. CCSD student athletes won many individual titles too! The Bruins Girls Tennis Team is state runner-up and the Bruins Boys Lacrosse team is in the state championship. In baseball, CCHS and GHS are headed to the first round of state playoffs. Plus All-State honors and spirit signings!

On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, the Cherry Creek School District celebrated longtime district volunteer, employee, and former board member Janice McDonald as the newest inductee to the Legacy Stadium Educational Leadership Wall of Fame. The celebration took place at Overland High School, where McDonald volunteered and many of her children and grandchildren attended.

The EHS boys volleyball team and the CCHS boys swim and dive team are both State Champions! And CCSD teams in other sports are in the thick of state playoffs!

The Colorado Department of Education recently recognized 14 Cherry Creek School District schools for academic achievement and growth during the 2023-24 school year.

Four impressive Cherry Creek Schools’ seniors are among the 50 students named as 2025 Boettcher Scholars by the Boettcher Foundation. Each of them will receive the prestigious Boettcher Scholarship, an $80,000, four-year scholarship.
