Referral Process

Referral to Traverse will occur through the home school only, specifically the student’s home school mental health provider (social worker/psychologist). Students, their families, or outside providers cannot self-refer to the program. Parent consent is required before any student is accepted to the program.

Every referral is subject to an intensive, comprehensive intake evaluation process conducted by CU mental health providers and in consultation with CCSD mental health and educational team members at Traverse Academy.
